Description
Conductivity (in uS/cm) for the diluted sodium sulfate solutions
Solution #4: Make 25 mL of a 2.5-fold dilution of the 5.0 g/L sodium sulfate solution= 3075
Solution #5: Make 25 mL of a 2.5-fold dilution of the 0.025 M sodium sulfate solution= 2249
Solution #6: Make 50 mL of a 5-fold dilution of the 2.0 mM sodium sulfate solution=99
Conductivity for 0.1 M solutions of NaCl and acetic acid were 12180 and 855 uS/cm, respectively
In part C, you would have prepared three dilutions (solutions 4-6 in the lab manual). Assume that you made those dilutions, but started with the stock solution concentrations listed in the ‘Data to be Used’ section above. Show typed calculations to determine the actual final diluted concentrations (in molarity) of solutions 4-6. Be sure to show the conversion calculation from g/L to molarity for solution #4. Clearly label each calculation and report the final concentrations to the appropriate number of significant figures.
